About Me / Contact Me
I have always loved taking photographs. As a child I snapped shots of friends and family. In college, I edited photos on the school newspaper. As a young adult, from New York to New Mexico, always with my camera at the ready, I looked to capture "the moment".
Most of my professional career since then has been centered on candid shots of people in intimate groups and social settings. Parties, gatherings, upscale corporate events, trendy art openings, stage rehearsals, or meditative retreats: wherever people gather, I documented and recorded their once-only instants for them.
Another aspect of my work is photography of structures, both urban and rural. Inspired by apartment houses and factories, truckstops and town halls, a covered bridge on a New England road, the façade of a chichi boutique in Soho, or a storm-ravaged pier on the Jersey shore, I transcribe their many stories into images for anyone to see.
